Stabilize & Improve the Speed of TCP/IP (& Other) Printers

We've all been there, and in the business of sales, seconds count.  Whether you want to squeeze that extra bit of performance out of your print jobs, or want to stabilize wireless printers in Windows, here's how you go about it:

  • Open up the printer properties & navigate to the 'Ports' tab
  • Select the port, and click 'Configure'
  • Deselect SNMP support
  • Select the RAW format
That's about it!  If you are using wireless printers, this will dramatically improve stability and performance.
